refreshing

last week was a refreshing one.

luke got his first taste of sand...
and some pool time.

and mom and dad treasured a certain 1-year-old's wrinkled-nosed grins and enjoyed some much-needed r&r. i actually read an entire book just for fun and relished every minute of it.
